June's Needle Nerds meeting
Peggy L., Thelma T. and I had a great time at Jolty's Java last night.
Peggy started work on a cute granny square poncho for her young daughter, Thelma
sewed the seams of a sweater she knitted, and I worked on a baby blanket that I
am determined to finish in time for a baby shower later this month. All-in-all
a great time of fellowship and needling!
Since the first Monday in July is the day before Independence day, we all
agreed to move next month's meeting out a week, so be sure to mark your
calendars to come to Jolty's Java on Monday, July 10th.
I hope you all enjoyed our beautiful Spring and, so far our cool June! I
look forward to catching up with you at our meeting in July.
